JOIN US for our 6th Annual Boulder Derby happening at RockFish Climbing & Fitness, in Whitefish, Montana. With a FULL gym reset, you can expect 75+ new problems to show off your TRY HARD! The climbs will range in difficulty from V0 to V8. There will be prizes for top 3 winners in each category, but also raffle prizes after the winners are announced. We have categories for Youth (A,B,C,D, Junior) and Adult Categories, Beginner, Intermediate, Open (Advanced), and Stone Masters – both with male and female subcategories.

Adults and Youth climb at the same time, so come climb with your family!

This is a red point style competition with only the top five scores counting toward the competitor’s total. The top three finishers in each category will take home prizes.

Youth Divisions: (set by birth year)

  • Youth D – 2012 and later
  • Youth C – 2010 – 2011
  • Youth B – 2008 – 2009
  • Youth A – 2006 – 2007
  • Youth Junior – 2004 – 2005

Adult Beginner Division: Two categories (Male, Female)
Adult Intermediate Division: Two categories (Male, Female)
Open (Advanced) Division: Two categories (Male, Female)
Stone Masters Division: For competitors born 1982 and earlier. Two categories (Male, Female)

 

*** NOTE:  The bouldering area will be CLOSED early at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 10 and CLOSED for the full day on Friday November 11 for an entire gym reset ***

Montana’s Last Best Bouldering Series (LBBS):  ROCKFISH’S BOULDER DERBY is excited to be a part of Montana’s second annual Last Best Bouldering Series. IT’S FREE TO REGISTER. Click here to go the LBBS website to register and see the list of participating gyms.
